Herblay's Sabri Letailleur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Herblay from getting a goal against them. Samir Moutoussamy hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Roncourt's Thierry Lhermite broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gustave Marcilly hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Sabri Letailleur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léon Cailleaux's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Roncourt were awarded a corner. Thierry Lhermite went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Roncourt's Thierry Lhermite to fire away a dangerous shot which Sabri Letailleur despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sabri Letailleur made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Félicien Payan sent off a good shot on target. Sabri Letailleur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léon Cailleaux, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Léon Cailleaux took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabri Letailleur. Sabri Letailleur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Herblay's Sabri Letailleur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léon Cailleaux in the 28th minute of play. Sabri Letailleur was a little too slow when Rayan Lopez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-0. Sabri Letailleur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léon Cailleaux's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Samir Moutoussamy hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Léon Cailleaux had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sabri Letailleur. Herblay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Léon Cailleaux was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Léon Cailleaux's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabri Letailleur was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Léon Cailleaux took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sabri Letailleur. Sabri Letailleur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Félicien Payan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christophe Beaulieu to make the kick off. When Roncourt's Léon Cailleaux in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Herblay's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Herblay's zone, Léon Cailleaux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sabri Letailleur came out of the goal and Léon Cailleaux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56thth minute of the game Léon Cailleaux who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Herblay's Sabri Letailleur was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Léon Cailleaux in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sabri Letailleur saved Herblay from getting behind. Roncourt were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Herblay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Thierry Lhermite took the corner. Roncourt's Thierry Lhermite was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Sabri Letailleur in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludwig Högman during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Herblay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ludwig Högman to maneuver through the defense. Malik Carbonnel hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 60 played minutes, Roncourt's Thierry Lhermite shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sabri Letailleur came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Roncourt reached it. In the 61st minute of the game, Isaltino Gaúcho landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. In the 63rd match minute, Roncourt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jérôme Baly to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Esteve Chan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabri Letailleur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Marc Kazmierczak's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Marc Kazmierczak in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Jean-Marc Kazmierczak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sabri Letailleur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Sabri Letailleur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Marc Kazmierczak in the 92nd minute of the match. Isaltino Gaúcho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Brian Fumey having to make a save. In the 95th minute, Igor Keller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sabri Letailleur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Marc Kazmierczak's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
Herblay's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
