Zlatan Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aladár György in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enmanuel Monroy in the 19th minute of play forced Jordan F1 91-05's goalkeeper Zlatan Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Gunnar Nilsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sancho Vesel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sherlock Holmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. But to his dismay, Gunnar Nilsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gunnar Nilsson in the 78th minute of play forced Snorlax FC's goalkeeper Sancho Vesel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jordan F1 91-05 made a substitution. Per-Erik Öfverman replaced Ronnie Peterson. After 82 minutes Snorlax FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matthias Colin who took care of the corner kick. In the 92nd minute of the match Francisco Hernández shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zlatan Buffon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Tibalt Bruna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zlatan Buffon. Jordan F1 91-05's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tibalt Bruna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.
The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jordan F1 91-05 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Snorlax FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
