Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Ogășanu started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Emanuel Ogășanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 19 minutes, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peru's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Murillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebastian Titz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelo Milanese could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. In the 35th minute of the match, Önder Cebi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolando Noboa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sydney FC's Sebastian Titz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. Sebastian Titz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luz Tejedor in the 41st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emanuel Ogășanu got free with Rolando Noboa in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolando Noboa was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Emanuel Ogășanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emanuel Ogășanu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Adam Daller got a throw-in 52 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Armando Abeita. Sebastian Titz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of play. Guy Rothe hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sydney FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Titz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Önder Cebi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Sebastian Titz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Mina in the 69th minute of play. Sebastian Titz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Mina went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Sebastian Titz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Sebastian Titz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 78th minute of the match. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. In the 84th minute, Önder Cebi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rolando Noboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. A collision led to Sydney FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ludwig Hanstein hit a great ball. A throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game was made by Armando Abeita with Adam Daller as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some careless play in the Sydney FC defense, Rafael Gallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Titz. The Sydney FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Titz should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Peru had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
