Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eduardo Reis got the match started through his kick off. Luis Andino struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Osmar Lago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 5 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osmar Lago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Lago having to interfere. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osmar Lago. The Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osmar Lago should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osmar Lago. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 22 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osmar Lago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After having played for 25 minutes, Felix Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felix Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Osmar Lago didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustín Saelices went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37th play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 0-7, a short shot which went by Osmar Lago and just under the crossbar into goal. Tião Tasso charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tião Tasso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 44 minutes into the match, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Osmar Lago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Osmar Lago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 51st minute. Osmar Lago was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 51 minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-10, to the right of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Osmar Lago. Osmar Lago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Osmar Lago was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 0-11. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Osmar Lago. Osmar Lago was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Osmar Lago. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-14. Osmar Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Constantin-Maximilian Beckenbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Osmar Lago. Daniel Zorita showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-15. After 87 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Agustín Saelices. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 89th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-16 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF throughout the match.
