Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Atalan Yay, made in the 3rd minute of the game. 1-0 became the score in the 8th minute when Maximiliano Escribano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A throw-in in the 11th minute of the game was made by Atalan Yay with Ernest Aldulescu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Atalan Yay, made in the 13th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the match, Hikmet Türkoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hikmet Türkoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Hikmet Türkoğlu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to DEMİREL.FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sümer Atlıoğlu hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aykan İskenderoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Camilo Franco struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Rüstem Akatay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After 24 minutes, Sümer Atlıoğlu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DEMİREL.FC and the Uruguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sümer Atlıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Andaç Kaan's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andaç Kaan helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, DEMİREL.FC's Andaç Kaan got a free kick in the 25th minute. 27 in the game Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert showed how dangerous he can be in front of the goal when he by his own managed to get a clear opportunity for a shot. The following shot went just left of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Hikmet Türkoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hikmet Türkoğlu succeeded in the game's 31st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-3. Maximiliano Escribano scored 2-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rüstem Akatay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hikmet Türkoğlu in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. DEMİREL.FC's Aykan İskenderoğlu got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Uruguay booed when DEMİREL.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graig Duke didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla tried to score from far away in the 47th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aykan İskenderoğlu made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüstem Akatay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, DEMİREL.FC's Hikmet Türkoğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Maximiliano Escribano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sümer Atlıoğlu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The supporters of Uruguay booed when DEMİREL.FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graig Duke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rüstem Akatay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Escribano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DEMİREL.FC's Rüstem Akatay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 78th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hikmet Türkoğlu in the 80th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 82 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Carvallo. The crowd rose to their feet as DEMİREL.FC's Aykan İskenderoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 2-5 after 83 minutes of play. In the 90th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rüstem Akatay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rüstem Akatay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 96th minute of play. The Uruguay manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing DEMİREL.FC to win.
