Karl-Åke Termander showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Yngve Fredriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Yngve Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 10th minute of the match. Yngve Fredriksson came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Abram Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colombia were furious when Orlando Tafalla was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Pedro Manzanares had in the 28thth minute some difficulties stopping Karl-Åke Termander's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Yngve Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 31st minute of the match. Djurgårdens IF's Kennet Forsman managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pascual Carballar in the 34 minute of the game. After 37 minutes of play, Colombia's Santino Seco made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yngve Fredriksson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42ndth minute of the game Karl-Åke Termander who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Kevin Mastache fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Colombia's protests and gave Kevin Mastache a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Karl-Åke Termander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Djurgårdens IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Åke Termander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Botvidsson in the 46th minute of play.
An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 52nd minute of play forced Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Yngve Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pascual Carballar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Yngve Fredriksson made a huge save. After 60 played minutes Djurgårdens IF got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Ekberg. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 62nd minute, when Colombia's Axel Montenegro after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Yngve Fredriksson in Djurgårdens IF's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Karl-Åke Termander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pedro Manzanares having to make a save. 64 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Åke Termander came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Djurgårdens IF's Karl-Åke Termander in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Colombia's goalie prevented a goal. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Kevin Mastache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Kevin Mastache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yngve Fredriksson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kevin Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Yngve Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Vinström in the 80th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Vinström went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 88 minutes of play, Djurgårdens IF's Alex Vinström made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 92 minutes, Alex Vinström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Djurgårdens IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Vinström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Colombia's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
