With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Ulisses Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamdullah Derinöz got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeronimo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilson Rodrigues got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Axel Montenegro came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Colombia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Montenegro couldn't finish the play. Jeronimo Rainerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Montenegro in the 42nd minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abram Sarmiento made a kick off. When Aquilino Gonchan fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's protests and gave Aquilino Gonchan a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Gonchan. After having played for 54 minutes, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Hamdullah Derinöz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Hamdullah Derinöz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's Bonifacio Elija was substituted for Maximo Goren. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Andrade in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute of the match ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ulisses Andrade ran over to the corner to take the kick. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. If Abram Secada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, ᑎᗝᖇ丅ᕼᗴᖇᑎ ᒪᎥǤᕼ丅ᔕ's goalkeeper Jeronimo Rainerio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Mastache. If Hamdullah Derinöz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Rodrigues in the 79th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson Rodrigues in the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Aldo Maurin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jeronimo Rainerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Mastache's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. A sloppy throw-in by Bonifacio Elija in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. In the 95th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Kevin Mastache went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Kevin Mastache got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jeronimo Rainerio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 96 minutes into the game, Aldo Maurin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
