An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 13th minute of play forced Frisia AFC's goalkeeper Santos Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Frisia AFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Cornelio Etxatxu hit a great ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Honduras lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
