A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Arturo Carvallo hit a great ball. Gökalp Ateşoğlu scored 2-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 47 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Carvallo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gökalp Ateşoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Icardi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes TC☆ Keskin Nişancı™ got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Icardi. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gökalp Ateşoğlu during the 57th minute. Jaime Cazalla took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fisnik Fart. In the 84th minute of the match, Francisco Seco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fisnik Fart was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fisnik Fart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Icardi came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Uruguay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because TC☆ Keskin Nişancı™ had won, even though Uruguay had held more of the ball.
