Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita, in the 5th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Yusuf Stegen came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Luis Andino. But to his dismay, Luis Andino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. San Diego FC's Yusuf Stegen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save San Diego FC from getting a goal against them. Yusuf Stegen was a little too slow when Agustín Saelices got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 2-0. Yusuf Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dainius Bagdonas in the 28th minute of play. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes San Diego FC got a freekick which was hit by Talip Ecemiş. When Dainius Bagdonas came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the San Diego FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dainius Bagdonas couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Yusuf Stegen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 40 minutes, Jaroslaw Mierzejewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Diego FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslaw Mierzejewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semail Özbir, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 44 minutes into the match, San Diego FC's Dainius Bagdonas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yusuf Stegen made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Diego FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that San Diego FC's Yusuf Stegen managed to reach the ball for a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dainius Bagdonas to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of San Diego FC's Yusuf Stegen. Yusuf Stegen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 54th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yusuf Stegen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 56th minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yusuf Stegen quite easily take care of the ball. Yusuf Stegen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 59th minute of play. Yusuf Stegen came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Semail Özbir went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Yusuf Stegen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dainius Bagdonas, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as San Diego FC's Dainius Bagdonas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julio Vera. That made the score 4-2 after 78 minutes of play. A collision led to San Diego FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Semail Özbir hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Luis Andino notched a goal, 5-2, to the right of San Diego FC's Yusuf Stegen. Yusuf Stegen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 92nd match minute, San Diego FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Bihar to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ecuador booed when San Diego FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dainius Bagdonas didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ecuador had played much better football throughout.
