Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Koby Wright made the kick off and thus started the match. Jax Williamson came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Alain Berset. But to his dismay, Alain Berset quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carter George got free with Gregor Kobel in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Espen Steelers's Alain Berset in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Canada's goalie prevented a goal. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koby Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Torben Krabber fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Espen Steelers's protests and gave Torben Krabber a yellow card for diving instead. Jax Williamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Berset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carter George's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gregor Kobel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Jan Dixon came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gregor Kobel could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jan Dixon in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregor Kobel saved Espen Steelers from getting behind. In the 37th minute Canada were awarded a corner. Koby Wright went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 39th minute Koby Wright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Richard Mccarthy made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jax Williamson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alain Berset went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Espen Steelers's Tobie Canclini was substituted for Torben Krabber. Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rohan Watson in the 53rd minute of play. After 56 played minutes Canada got a freekick which was hit by Alfred John. In the 58th minute Nino Schurter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jax Williamson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Espen Steelers's Gregor Kobel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rohan Watson in the 61st minute of play. If Koby Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canada's Theo Burton was substituted for Rohan Watson. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nino Schurter in the 68th minute of play. Canada's Prince Anderson was substituted for Carter George. Espen Steelers's Rogelio Montez was substituted for Alain Berset. Jax Williamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Montez in the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Rogelio Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espen Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogelio Montez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stan Wawrinka recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theo Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute of the match Canada got a corner. Espen Steelers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jan Dixon ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 83 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Ingo Minder. After a defensive mix-up in Espen Steelers's zone, Luka Harris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregor Kobel came out of the goal and Luka Harris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gregor Kobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theo Burton in the 86th minute of the match. Filip Edwards took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gregor Kobel. Gregor Kobel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After 94 minutes of play, Canada's Prince Anderson made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregor Kobel was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Canada players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
