Daniel Zorita was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Omar Bünder charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omar Bünder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Tristan Arioli in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72nd minute, Florian Plouffe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olympique Fribourg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 77th minute of play. With a little luck, Olympique Fribourg's Tristan Arioli got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line.
