Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Julian Murillo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lei Zhen De quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luz Tejedor got free with Lei Zhen De in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Mosjö Sportklubb's Ludomil Topolski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Peru's Milagros Fraga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Konstantinos Voutsas in the 19 minute of the game. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Lei Zhen De made a huge save. Mosjö Sportklubb's Lei Zhen De played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 25th minute of play. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 29th minute. It was a well-played corner which Eliseo Mina managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ludomil Topolski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Milagros Fraga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Lei Zhen De made a huge save. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomil Topolski in the 38th minute of play. Mosjö Sportklubb's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arne Holmberg in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomil Topolski in the 40th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mosjö Sportklubb's Ludomil Topolski shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lei Zhen De was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peru were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mosjö Sportklubb for a fine match.
