Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Efraim in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the game, Ricardo Endura recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Ricardo Endura showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Videl in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Juan Rubio hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Fernan Gurutz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramiro Xacintu during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ramiro Xacintu hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Lautaro Puig ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santos Vigil was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Frisia AFC's Santo Panpili got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Lautaro Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santos Vigil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. If Axel Tasis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Sadurni took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Eugenio Truylos charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugenio Truylos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luciano Sadurnis short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Benito Sanz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 39 minutes into the game, Fernan Gurutz lined in a short shot 3-1 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. 42 minutes into the match, Frisia AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Santos Vigil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Frisia AFC's goalie and right to Lautaro Puig. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Frisia AFC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Alexander Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Sadurni made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Godfredo Efraim made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 54 minutes into the match, Frisia AFC's goalkeeper Santos Vigil had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Tasis. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Efraim, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After 71 minutes of play, Frisia AFC's Godfredo Efraim made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frisia AFC made a substitution. Abel Txatxu replaced Americo Matia. Axel Tasis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Santos Vigil made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Melchor Esiquio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 played minutes Frisia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Etxatxu. The supporters of Frisia AFC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Godfredo Efraim might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Efraim ran back to his position shaking his head. There was no doubt that Frisia AFC were the better team. Frisia AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
