Spectators: 49 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Uruguay's Francisco Seco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Abşeron got a freekick which was hit by Teymur Mämmädov. Jorge Sainz's late challenge caught a Abşeron's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Sainz helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. When Näcäf Eyyubov came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Abşeron fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Näcäf Eyyubov couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Rüfät Salmanov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Rüfät Salmanov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Rüfät Salmanov made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert suffered a sore knee after 16 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Äkbär Atakişiyev during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Äkbär Atakişiyev kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Häsän Bädiyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camaläddin Bağiyev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Abşeron was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mäcid Cümşüdov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 35 minutes, Rüfät Salmanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Abşeron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rüfät Salmanov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rüfät Salmanov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abşeron's goalkeeper Häsän Bädiyev, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Abşeron's Häsän Bädiyev. Häsän Bädiyev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 47 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Escribano. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Rüfät Salmanov made the kick off in the second half. Häsän Bädiyev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uruguay's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jaime Cazalla in the 52nd minute. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Häsän Bädiyev in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 53 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Beldad. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camaläddin Bağiyev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Francisco Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Häsän Bädiyev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Rüfät Salmanov sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Abşeron getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Vasya Utanov hit a great ball. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camaläddin Bağiyev in the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. Joaquin Gayoso was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Camaläddin Bağiyev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Camaläddin Bağiyev really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Abşeron's Rüfät Salmanov got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74thth minute of the game Rüfät Salmanov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. Häsän Bädiyev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. If Camaläddin Bağiyev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Francisco Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Häsän Bädiyev was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. Häsän Bädiyev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 86th minute of the match. After 87 minutes Abşeron's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Cazalla who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Häsän Bädiyev despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Joaquin Gayoso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
