The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Augusto Alves was the one to do the kick off. Batiste Carrez ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Augusto Alves in the 71st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Augusto Alves in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 79th play minutes Pedro Augusto Alves shot 6-0, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Hugo Ferrant got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Pedro Augusto Alves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
