Ariel Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rohan Watson, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 9th minute, Mark Devia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the match, Canada's goal looked a bit too open when Orfilio Orbañanos came free, but Jax Williamson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ariel Balboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carter George's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orfilio Orbañanos in the 18th minute of play forced Canada's goalkeeper Jax Williamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Balboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koby Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Koby Wright notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of U. de Tarapacá's Ariel Balboa. Ariel Balboa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Canada's Jax Williamson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Peredo in the 32nd minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Yuan Zhen Lin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canada's Jax Williamson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Canada's Carter George nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Balboa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. U. de Tarapacá's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Luka Harris scored to the left of an out of position Ariel Balboa, making the score, 3-0. Domingo Barcena kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Koby Wright stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yuan Zhen Lin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jax Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Canada's Filip Edwards was substituted for Koby Wright. 63 minutes into the match, U. de Tarapacá's goal looked a bit too open when Rohan Watson came free, but Ariel Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xaime Morales hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Canada's Prince Anderson was substituted for Carter George. The supporters of Canada booed when U. de Tarapacá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xaime Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81st play minutes Filip Edwards shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Ariel Balboa and just under the crossbar into goal. Yuan Zhen Lin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jax Williamson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Luka Harris took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ariel Balboa. Ariel Balboa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Canada fully deserved thier win.
