Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Márió Kállai started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised György Tóth. György Tóth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but György Tóth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zalasárszeg OSE's Márton Horváth quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leonardo Leoz, made in the 12th minute of the game. Márió Kállai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Lautaro Mancebo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. György Tóth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. György Tóth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 19th minute of the match. György Tóth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 20th minute of play. Dávid Kerekes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márió Kállai in the 32nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. György Tóth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Zalasárszeg OSE getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Csaba Végvári hit a great ball. In the 39th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but György Tóth skillfully saved the ball. In the 41st minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but György Tóth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Szilárd Tótfalusi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zalasárszeg OSE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kálmán Gácsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. Dávid Kerekes hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kálmán Gácsi in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kálmán Gácsi in the 68th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Zalasárszeg OSE's Fábián Füzesi was substituted for Dávid Kerekes. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Zalasárszeg OSE's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The goalkeeper, György Tóth, was totally fooled by Mexico's Joel Gaona, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Szilárd Tótfalusi, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kálmán Gácsi in the 80th minute of play. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. György Tóth came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. György Tóth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 87th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with György Tóth in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 92 played minutes Zalasárszeg OSE got a freekick which was hit by Fábián Füzesi. György Tóth came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Joel Gaona. But to his dismay, Joel Gaona quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
