Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tayyar Tanzer took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Black Eagles FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agustín Saelices didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Juan Sebastián Puig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Eagles FC the free kick. In the 4th minute, one of Ecuador:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ecuador. Julio Vera had in the 5thth minute some difficulties stopping Tayyar Tanzer's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ovidio Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tayyar Tanzer went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Black Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ovidio Orkatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ash Duxbury who took care of the corner kick. Ovidio Orkatz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Black Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Ovidio Orkatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tayyar Tanzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ovidio Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes Cristian Sancho rounded Black Eagles FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Ovidio Orkatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Svenning Bernov in the 58th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ovidio Orkatz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Black Eagles FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Camillo Campese hit a great ball. The long shot by Daniel Zorita in the 64th minute really tested Ovidio Orkatz's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Eagles FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Orkatz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ovidio Orkatz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tayyar Tanzer in the 79th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Tayyar Tanzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Montenegro kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 92nd minute, but Ovidio Orkatz got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Black Eagles FC hanging dry this time. After 93 minutes Black Eagles FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Agustín Saelices blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ovidio Orkatz having to make a save. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Black Eagles FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
