A very good chance. Bartlomiej Petrasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Axel Tasis in the 14th minute of the match. When Lautaro Puig fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Lautaro Puig a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Puig. In the 16th minute, Cengiz Ünder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Hugo Ferrant made in the 20th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Aaron Alcocer. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nilson de Azevedo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. In the 35th minute, Eliseo Noboa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 37th minute of the match Aaron Alcocer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bartlomiej Petrasz skillfully saved the ball. Bartlomiej Petrasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Concetto Pugliese recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chochoł Bronowice's Gilbert Czeszyk quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Efrain Moruga, made in the 45th minute of the game. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilson de Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play Costa Rica's Alan Moruga was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 53rd match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Waldemar Ciupierdo in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Lukasz Kajder made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Bartlomiej Petrasz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eliseo Noboa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 74 minute of play. Aaron Alcocer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Bartlomiej Petrasz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chochoł Bronowice's Nilson de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chochoł Bronowice's Bartlomiej Petrasz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 84th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 任锋南 during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Chochoł Bronowice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. 任锋南 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chochoł Bronowice walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
