An unexpectedly hard shot by Örjan Björk in the 41st minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Örjan Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wiktor Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 47th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wiktor Ekström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Moises Gayoso, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 48 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Wiktor Ekström was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Zdzislaw Barniszke quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Moises Gayoso, made in the 54th minute of the game. Åsbro Flåsegutter's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Julian Murillo scored to the left of an out of position Wiktor Ekström, making the score, 0-2. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Örjan Björk's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Åsbro Flåsegutter made a substitution. Kent Ahlquist replaced Sebastian Biörling. Alonso Berganza made in the 65th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Moises Gayoso however managed to control. In the 66th minute, Remigiusz Winszman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kent Ahlquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Wiktor Ekström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luz Tejedor succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 73rd playminute. Örjan Björk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Lundin struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Åsbro Flåsegutter. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Wiktor Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Gallo in the 86th minute of the match.
