Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Zé Bani kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Zé Bani tried to sneak it across the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Zé Bani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Julio Vera. Zé Bani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Pablo-Enrique Cuba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmacio Ebardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Bani in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Dalmacio Ebardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dalmacio Ebardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Agustín Saelices made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that LTA FC's Dalmacio Ebardo managed to reach the ball for a save. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Zé Bani showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 25 minute of play. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LTA FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 46th minute, LTA FC's Zé Bani dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Dalmacio Ebardo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zé Bani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Elvio Ticho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LTA FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 60th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dalmacio Ebardo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. Zé Bani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. LTA FC made a substitution. Luis Petri replaced Teo Martxelin. After a rather tough play, LTA FC's Norberto Celipe got a free kick in the 71st minute. After 72 played minutes LTA FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Celipe. In the 74th minute, LTA FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cristian Sancho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 77th minute LTA FC were awarded a corner. Godofredo Ermengol went to the cornerflag to take it. Godofredo Ermengol made a great header on LTA FC's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Dalmacio Ebardo made a huge save. Pablo-Enrique Cuba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match LTA FC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Godofredo Ermengol ran over to the corner to take the kick. Godofredo Ermengol took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 95th match minute, LTA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Matai to maneuver through the defense.
