After having played for 7 minutes, Örjan Forssell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Örjan Forssell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Petru Nisporeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Orlando Tafalla got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Mauricio Guadalupe made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Petru Nisporeanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petru Nisporeanu saved Deportivo Peñarol FIFV from getting behind. 34 minutes into the game, Abram Sarmiento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Petru Nisporeanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Blai Bacardi in the 39th minute really tested Pedro Manzanares's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Petru Nisporeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Mastache, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 44th minute, Orlando Tafalla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 45 minutes into the match, Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Örjan Forssell. After 46 minutes Colombia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Liu Yan Yan who took care of the corner kick. After 47 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Mastache. In the 49thth minute of the game Örjan Forssell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Abram Sarmiento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petru Nisporeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute Liu Yan Yan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Örjan Forssell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's supporters rose to their feet, but Örjan Forssell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Manzanares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV's Cortez Morera was substituted for Quinton Isern. Deportivo Peñarol FIFV made a substitution. Cortez Morera scored 6-3 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute, Liu Yan Yan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Örjan Forssell in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Örjan Forssell in the 83rd minute of play. Petru Nisporeanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kevin Mastache in the 88th minute. Oriche Ruelas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. The supporters of Deportivo Peñarol FIFV booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Mastache didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cortez Morera took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ignacio Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo Peñarol FIFV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
