Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Castel Areces made the kick off and thus started the match. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Fan Ao Zhou tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Fan Ao Zhou, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fan Ao Zhou in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Castel Areces in the 14th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xspark Academy's Emmanuel Bardel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Fan Ao Zhou sent off a good shot on target. 24 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emmanuel Bardel. Xspark Academy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Emmanuel Bardel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emmanuel Bardel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Castel Areces might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Castel Areces ran back to his position shaking his head. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Xspark Academy's Filipe Mello got a free kick in the 36th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Castel Areces. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emmanuel Bardel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emmanuel Bardel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Xspark Academy's goalkeeper Emmanuel Bardel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. An unexpectedly hard shot by Castel Areces in the 59th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Xspark Academy's goalkeeper Emmanuel Bardel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Xspark Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emmanuel Bardel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 70th minute of play. Xspark Academy's Emmanuel Bardel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Xspark Academy from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute of the match Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emmanuel Bardel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 81st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emmanuel Bardel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henric Sandwall in the 84th minute of play. Teodoro Escobar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Escobar in the 91st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henric Sandwall in the 92nd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Valdo Santervas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador played a much better game than Xspark Academy and deserved their victory. The Xspark Academy players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
