The Alfa pl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartlomiej Japola should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Alfa pl's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Bartlomiej Japola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartlomiej Japola having to interfere. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bartlomiej Japola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Alfa pl's Bartlomiej Japola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. Bartlomiej Japola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartlomiej Japola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dariusz Solibieda, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Walery Karp kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Solibieda in the 40th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tanek Klocko during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 64th minute, one of Alfa pl:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alfa pl. Alfa pl:s Bartlomiej Japola showed great skill when he stopped Daniel Zorita:s penalty. Bartlomiej Japola was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 70 minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Solibieda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfa pl's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Artur Hajduk in the 82nd minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Tymoteusz Petrasz got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-3. 82 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Alfa pl's Bartlomiej Japola got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bartlomiej Japola made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 90th minute. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro pulled a muscle in his back after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dariusz Solibieda charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Solibieda in the 99th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
