Adrian Bobeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Pedro Manzanares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Olympique Gdynia getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Fabio-Roman Zabaleta hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Axel Montenegro in the 18thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tanek Ostrowski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 20 minutes into the game, Olympique Gdynia's Şota Arveladze nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Tanek Ostrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 23rd minute of play. Axel Montenegros short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Tanek Ostrowski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santino Seco got free with Tanek Ostrowski in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tirso Isasaga in the 35th minute of the match. In the 45th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pascual Carballar to maneuver through the defense. After the first half Olympique Gdynia were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Charles Darwin, made in the 53rd minute of the game. Tanek Ostrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 55th minute of play. Jurand Frankowski made in the 58th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Ostrowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes, Axel Montenegro made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şota Arveladze in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 80th minute of play forced Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Şota Arveladze recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Şota Arveladze showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-6. Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 90th minute of play forced Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Colombia's Pedro Manzanares got control of the ball when Czeslaw Domeracki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignacio Mastache kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Olympique Gdynia's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
