The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Gitano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Manzanares was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Jarana FC's Wilfredo Gitano got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeo Distiratsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Montenegro in the 18th minute. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Axel Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Tadeo Distiratsu to make any attempt to save it. Wilfredo Gitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Wilfredo Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Colombia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yang Yao Kuan was slow to take the kick. During this time Jarana FC's players had a chance to rest. 35 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Gitano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Gitano went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Wilfredo Gitano scored 2-4 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pedro Manzanares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Gitano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Wilfredo Gitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Wilfredo Gitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tadeo Distiratsu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 61st minute of the match. Wilfredo Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 67th minute of play forced Jarana FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Wilfredo Gitano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Valko De Hond fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. Kalmer Üksvärav made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Wilfredo Gitano immediately put the ball in play. 80 minutes into the match, Wilfredo Gitano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilfredo Gitano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-6. Valko De Hond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Jarana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacio Mastache came free, but Tadeo Distiratsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Wilfredo Gitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Wilfredo Gitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute Wilfredo Gitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jarana FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
