Lei Zhen De made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Mosjö Sportklubb's goalkeeper Lei Zhen De had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. After 23 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. 25 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Dalton Bennett came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ludomil Topolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lei Zhen De made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ludomil Topolski in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 36 minutes into the game, Mosjö Sportklubb's Ludomil Topolski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 39th minute of play forced Mosjö Sportklubb's goalkeeper Lei Zhen De to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Lei Zhen De in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42ndth minute of the game Alberto Tafalla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mosjö Sportklubb's Lei Zhen De was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mosjö Sportklubb's zone, Lautaro Mancebo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lei Zhen De came out of the goal and Lautaro Mancebo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Mosjö Sportklubb getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Joacim Gustavsson hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Bergman came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. Mosjö Sportklubb's Dalton Bennett got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ludomil Topolski in the 61st minute of play. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Bergman in the 63rd minute. Ludomil Topolski did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Dante Lacasa 64 minutes into the match. Lei Zhen De showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Lei Zhen De didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Mühren in the 83rd minute of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Mosjö Sportklubb's Arnold Mühren managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joel Gaona in the 90 minute of the game. In the 92nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lautaro Mancebo scored 3-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lei Zhen De, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mexico's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
