Gavino Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Valentin Negroni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Valentin Negroni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, Dante Rafe made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. With an all-out effort, Metapalo FC's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valentin Negroni, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dante Rafe came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jonathan Ferrant could save by the left post. Metapalo FC's attentive Epifanio Marques managed to snatch the ball when Guillermo Mariano made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Metapalo FC's Valentin Negroni dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 28th minute, Dante Rafe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Dante Rafe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Dante Rafe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Valentin Negroni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th match minute, Metapalo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toto Fabri to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. After having played for 63 minutes, Valentin Negroni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metapalo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Negroni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Negroni went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. When Metapalo FC's Dante Rafe in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute, Valentin Negroni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Epifanio Marques recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 95 minutes, Valentin Negroni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Metapalo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Negroni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Venegas hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Metapalo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
