The crowd rose to their feet as Honduras's Edmundo Espiga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antônio de Azevedo. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Edmundo Espiga's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Antônio de Azevedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edmundo Espigas short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Antônio de Azevedo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Apocalipse FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Espinar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Ivan Navarro in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Apocalipse FC's Tiago Gabriel Brodel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 24th minute of play forced Apocalipse FC's goalkeeper Antônio de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Edmundo Espiga reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Antônio de Azevedo. The goal made the score 3-0. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antônio de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Espiga's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. With his leg Antônio de Azevedo managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edmundo Espiga succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 35th playminute. Honduras's attack was well implemented in the 45th minute, but when Edmundo Espiga was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio de Azevedo having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Apocalipse FC's Antônio de Azevedo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Antônio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 59th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Apocalipse FC's Antônio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 65th minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game Edmundo Espiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Apocalipse FC's Antônio de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Apocalipse FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Antônio de Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Milagros Cabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Moises Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Antônio de Azevedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Edmundo Espiga put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Antônio de Azevedo. Valentín Carvallo made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Moises Tafalla. Edmundo Espiga took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antônio de Azevedo. Antônio de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Edmundo Espiga sped through Apocalipse FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Antônio de Azevedo. Antônio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Espinar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Honduras fully deserved thier win.
