In the 10thth minute of the game Virgilio Mangas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Fargo SC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jaime Pardo to make the kick off. The Fargo SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
