Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Du Song Lin in the 12th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Du Song Lin went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Guillermo Mariano made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Yan Rezende. After 21 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. The audience thought a goal was coming when Du Song Lin got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Du Song Lin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Du Song Lin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 played minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jakue Llave. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper João Vítor Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 36th minute, Du Song Lin made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 39th minute, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Du Song Lin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but João Vítor Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Du Song Lin went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Du Song Lin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Song Lin, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Du Song Lin in the 60th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Du Song Lin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Jonathan Ferrant had in the 86thth minute some difficulties stopping Yan Rezende's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Du Song Lin in the 90th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Humberto Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Camilo Gaos hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the game, Anselmo Maraschin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick.
