Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck started the match with the kick off. Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck ran back to his position shaking his head. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Pipo Orihuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 11 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pipo Orihuela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck in the 16th minute of the match. Felix Montes made in the 20th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Felix Montenegro however managed to control. Felix Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pipo Orihuela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck sent off a good shot on target. Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Pipo Orihuela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Pipo Orihuela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 46th minute of play. After 47 minutes of play, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pipo Orihuela was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 54 minutes of play, Gallo Crisis's Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck in the 58th minute of play. Pipo Orihuela made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute Willem-Alexander Uytebroeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gallo Crisis's Pipo Orihuela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Gallo Crisis from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Gallo Crisis's Pipo Orihuela. Pipo Orihuela was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Gallo Crisis getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Mathias Smets hit a great ball. Gallo Crisis's Pipo Orihuela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Gallo Crisis from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Pipo Orihuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
