Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Valentin Negroni made the kick off and thus started the match. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Metapalo FC's Bengt-Arne Thedin got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Rafe in the 6th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dante Rafe. 21 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Negroni came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 23 minutes into the game, Dante Rafe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Dante Rafe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Dante Rafe reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benito Sanz. The goal made the score 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, Dante Rafe notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 36 in the game by Dante Rafe from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. Juan Rubio charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Rubio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 37th minute. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Valentin Negroni got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dante Rafe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 42nd playminute. 47 minutes into the match, Metapalo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Gavino Belarmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valentin Negroni went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Dante Rafe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Rafe, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Negroni in the 58th minute of play. If Valentin Negroni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Metapalo FC's Gavino Belarmo got control of the ball when Lautaro Puig tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 71 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacinto Baumar who took care of the corner kick. Jacinto Baumar made a great header on Metapalo FC's corner, it was just that Costa Rica's Benito Sanz managed to reach the ball for a save. Valentin Negroni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dante Rafe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Dante Rafe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Benito Sanz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Valentin Negroni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Valentin Negroni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Dante Rafe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dante Rafe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball.
