Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes of play, INTER FC's Marco Seco made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind INTER FC's goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leon Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Veiga made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Bruno Alves made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rafael Veiga immediately put the ball in play. In the 30th minute, one of Honduras:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Honduras. Emerson Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Thiago de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon Kosmatka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. INTER FC's Leon Kosmatka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emerson Cruz was the one to do the kick off. Leon Kosmatka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Bruno Alves made in the 53rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Rafael Veiga. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Marco Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTER FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Seco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Cruz came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marco Seco's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emerson Cruz during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 60 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Cruz. INTER FC made a substitution. Mandi Oca replaced Emerson Cruz. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Bruno Alves made a throw-in in the 67th minute of the game. When Bruno Alves fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTER FC's protests and gave Bruno Alves a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Honduras booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. INTER FC's Leon Kosmatka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 70th minute of play. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Leon Kosmatka in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Linhares in the 79th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leon Kosmatka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moises Tafalla in the 81st minute of play. After 82 minutes, Mandi Oca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the INTER FC and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Honduras booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mandi Oca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Linhares in the 84th minute of play. After 85 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Mandi Oca. A throw-in in the 88th minute of the game was made by Bruno Alves with Hortêncio Linhares as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. INTER FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
