Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Cruz in the 9th minute of play. Cássio Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Abraham Alguacil sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and INTER FC's Leon Kosmatka didn't even have to move. Leon Kosmatka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Miralles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Miguel Miralles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leon Kosmatka. INTER FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Miralles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 21st minute, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 31st minute, Marco Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 32nd minute of play forced INTER FC's goalkeeper Leon Kosmatka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match Panama got a corner. INTER FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Abraham Alguacil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Miguel Miralles's late challenge caught a INTER FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Miralles helped the player get up and apologised. Leon Kosmatka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 47th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Marco Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Kosmatka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, INTER FC's Marco Seco got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Cássio Porto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. INTER FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. The supporters of Panama booed when INTER FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 62 minutes, Felipe Ros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Panama and the INTER FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. INTER FC made a substitution. Mandi Oca replaced Emerson Cruz. INTER FC made a substitution. Hortêncio Linhares replaced Marco Seco. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Panama:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of INTER FC:s goal. Marcos Cotilla had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Léo Trigo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Léo Trigo scored 2-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Valverde struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER FC. After a rather tough play, Panama's Felipe Ros got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Hortêncio Linhares came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 78 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Berganza. In the 81st minute, Aaron Barrios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hortêncio Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leon Kosmatka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Hortêncio Linhares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Cotilla. That made the score 2-2 in the 87 minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Panama's Abraham Alguacil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Kosmatka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Hortêncio Linhares hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Panama had won after a very even match.
