The crowd rose to their feet as Justin Collingwood kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 5-0 in the 35 minute of play. The supporters of Garlic Eaters booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justin Collingwood in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Benito Sanz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Garlic Eaters's Tommy Hanley. But to his dismay, Tommy Hanley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Justin Collingwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garlic Eaters's Jasper Attwood was substituted for Noel Broom. Garlic Eaters's Joel Afful was substituted for Tommy Hanley. 63 minutes into the match, İbrahim Efe Altunbaş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that İbrahim Efe Altunbaş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justin Collingwood went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Garlic Eaters's Jozef Lewandowski. But to his dismay, Jozef Lewandowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jozef Lewandowski's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Collingwood in the 82nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jozef Lewandowski in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Lewandowski in the 90th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İbrahim Efe Altunbaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Alan Moruga hit a great ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Justin Collingwood who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 95th minute Justin Collingwood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Afful scored 12-0 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
