If Alfonso de la Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Lev Nazarchuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Синій's supporters rose to their feet, but Lev Nazarchuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Camilo Freixa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Camilo Freixa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matviy Pavleschuk in the 20th minute of play. Lev Nazarchuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matviy Pavleschuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 35 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Julio Chicote. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Синій was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olexiy Stoyanov didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes Синій got a freekick which was hit by Zakhar Dobryanskiy. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mario Fernandino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sergiy Lepyavko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Fernandino in the 63rd minute. Roman Bryl kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Lev Nazarchuk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matviy Pavleschuk in the 76th minute of play. 79 minutes into the game, Francisco Gallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Синій the free kick. In the 79th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Francisco Gallo to maneuver through the defense. Sergiy Lepyavko made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Alfonso de la Cruz sent off a good shot on target. Eduardo Fontirroig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lev Nazarchuk came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Синій fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lev Nazarchuk couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Синій's Olexiy Stoyanov got a free kick in the 90th minute. Синій's Sergiy Lepyavko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Fontirroig in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lev Nazarchuk in the 96th minute of play forced Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
