In the 14th minute, Jason Seagrave left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hockley AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trevor Lyons got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ma Ting Nan. Jason Seagrave could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Hubbard went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 36th minute, Xaverius Xavier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jason Seagrave in the 41st minute. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, Hockley AFC's Joseph Hubbard nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jason Seagrave stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jason Seagrave in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xaverius Xavier in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Seagrave in the 62nd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Hockley AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
