Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcinho Simões got the match started through his kick off. When Richard Tróia fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maraponga FAC's protests and gave Richard Tróia a yellow card for diving instead. Richard Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jardel Falcão having to interfere. Norberto Matos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. When Norberto Matos came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Maraponga FAC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Matos couldn't finish the play. Marcinho Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Magno Dante got a throw-in 28 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Norberto Matos. After some careless play in the Honduras defense, Marcinho Simões kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lautaro Navarro. The Honduras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lautaro Navarro should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Maraponga FAC's Luiz Fernando Tróia got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Jardel Falcão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 34th minute of play. Sebastian Villa might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jardel Falcão. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Maraponga FAC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Dorian Breckenfeld hit a great ball. The supporters of Maraponga FAC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Maraponga FAC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Paulo Toledo to maneuver through the defense. In the 52nd minute of the match Sebastian Villa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jardel Falcão skillfully saved the ball. Magno Dante made in the 60th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. After a defensive mix-up in Maraponga FAC's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jardel Falcão came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Paulo Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Magno Dante in the 68th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Maraponga FAC's Jardel Falcão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Honduras booed when Maraponga FAC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Sá didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Maraponga FAC defense, Edmundo Espiga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jardel Falcão. The Maraponga FAC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jardel Falcão should have stopped the shot. Luca Espinar charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luca Espinar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee ended the match the Honduras players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
