Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. Felix Montes hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jailson Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Roderick van Boxel. Eugênio de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eugênio de Carvalho got free with Julio Vera in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jailson Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Antonio Arias kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio de Carvalho in the 21st minute of play. Jailson Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Breguete FC's Jean Alves got a free kick in the 30th minute. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jailson Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Breguete FC's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jailson Soares came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio de Carvalho in the 36th minute of the match. Roderick van Boxel hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After 46 minutes, Eugênio de Carvalho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Breguete FC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th minute, Jean Alves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eugênio de Carvalho made a kick off. Attila Iványi kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Benê Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Breguete FC's Jailson Soares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Breguete FC from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugênio de Carvalho in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 62nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Felix Montenegro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Jailson Soares in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jailson Soares was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 0-2. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Jailson Soares made a huge save. Jailson Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jailson Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Breguete FC's goalkeeper Jailson Soares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Jailson Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Montenegros short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Jailson Soares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Felix Montenegro sped through Breguete FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jailson Soares. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Luis Andino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jailson Soares. That made the score 0-4 after 85 minutes of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio de Carvalho in the 88th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Soares having to interfere. After 92 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. When Joaquim Seco fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Breguete FC's protests and gave Joaquim Seco a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquim Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Breguete FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
