Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Jason Seagrave made the kick off and thus started the match. After 12 minutes, Joseph Hubbard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hockley AFC and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpected shot in the 14th minute by Jason Seagrave got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Hockley AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leo Bell. Agustín Saelices took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fred Lineker. Fred Lineker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 24th minute of the match Hockley AFC got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Trevor Lyons ran over to the corner to take the kick. A collision led to Hockley AFC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ma Ting Nan hit a great ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Hubbard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fred Lineker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fred Lineker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute.

If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Agustín Saelices fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Lineker having to interfere. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Fred Lineker made a huge save. A collision led to Hockley AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Blair Hedges hit a great ball. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Fred Lineker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joseph Hubbard in the 62nd minute of play. With a little luck, Hockley AFC's Fred Lineker got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute Jason Seagrave shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Lineker stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Hockley AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Hubbard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Fred Lineker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fred Lineker. Hockley AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 88th minute of play forced Hockley AFC's goalkeeper Fred Lineker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, David Ashby was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hockley AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Daniel Zorita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Fred Lineker when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
