Espirillo FC's Aaron Cutberto was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Cristo Elia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa, 1-0. Jorge Iztal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 21st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Cutberto got free with Dante Lacasa in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Aaron Cutberto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 37th minute of play. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espirillo FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Lautaro Mancebo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal did a great save. Cristo Elia kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Espirillo FC's Cristo Elia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Gaona made a kick off. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Cutberto in the 54th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Tafalla got free with Jorge Iztal in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Macos Graciani hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Cutberto in the 65th minute of the match. Joaquim Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, Espirillo FC could leave the field as winners, despite Mexico having more of the ball for most of the match.
