Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Joel Gaona made the kick off and thus started the match. When Alberto Tafalla came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Tafalla couldn't finish the play. Enrique Sedeni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Enrique Sedeni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. After 13 played minutes 1989 Blxsk got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Torres. In the 13th minute of the match Joel Gaona sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enrique Sedeni skillfully saved the ball. In the 46th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Sedeni was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Furman made a kick off. 1989 Blxsk were furious when David Mckinnes was red carded, 51 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. David Mckinnes hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Enrique Sedeni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 52nd minute of the match. Enrique Sedeni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 55th minute. Mexico's Lorenzo Cazalla got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Despite this Enrique Sedeni quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Alberto Tafalla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Tafalla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enrique Sedeni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 78 played minutes 1989 Blxsk got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Birjaio. Juan Urti kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Enrique Sedeni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 81st minute of play. Enrique Sedeni made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute of the match Mexico got a corner. 1989 Blxsk's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joel Gaona ran over to the corner to take the kick. Mexico's Joel Gaona was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Enrique Sedeni in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 1989 Blxsk's Enrique Sedeni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save 1989 Blxsk from getting a goal against them. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
