Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Ceresoli in the 5th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Biagio Scoca in the 9th minute of play. In the 13thth minute of the game Joel Gaona who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Foot Ball Club di Roma's Alvaro Pardini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joel Gaona's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alvaro Pardini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Pardini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fedele Cimino tried in the 22nd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Alvaro Pardini a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Mexico's Luca Zorita managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Aurelio Vinciguerra in the 25 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Gaona in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Pardini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alvaro Pardini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 31st minute. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alvaro Pardini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Scoca in the 37th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Mexico's Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 66th minute of play forced Foot Ball Club di Roma's goalkeeper Alvaro Pardini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biagio Scoca in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to Foot Ball Club di Roma getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Fedele Cimino hit a great ball. Alvaro Pardini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Pardini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Biagio Scoca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Ceresoli in the 93rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 94 minutes into the game, Aurelio Vinciguerra was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Foot Ball Club di Roma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mexico the free kick. Foot Ball Club di Roma's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
