Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Rock Hard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Kenneth Drange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Rock Hard FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eilert Totland didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Tage Øye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Daniel Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Zorita couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rock Hard FC's Åsmund Sørby got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Hans-Martin Torvund struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rock Hard FC. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Haavik kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth Drange narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Tage Øye hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 33 minutes into the match, Rock Hard FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Kenneth Drange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Tobias Skevik kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. 44 minutes into the match, Sigve Ramberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sigve Ramberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Kenneth Drange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Martin Torvund in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute Sigve Ramberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans-Martin Torvund in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kenneth Drange read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Kenneth Drange was a little too slow when Daniel Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-1. After 68 minutes, Hans-Martin Torvund made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ecuador's Julio Vera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kenneth Drange was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 92nd minute Frank Haavik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador played a much better game than Rock Hard FC and deserved their victory. The Rock Hard FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
