He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bluehills Rovers reached it. Axel Tasis didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-1 via right post in the game's 24th minute. Costa Rica's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Philip Sandwall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bertil Heggert's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Philip Sandwall went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Sandwall, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Bertil Heggert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Philip Sandwall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Philip Sandwall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Philip Sandwall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Philip Sandwall was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Bluehills Rovers's David Berg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertil Heggert in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Abel Carballo kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Philip Sandwall. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sören Melberg in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Axel Tasis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Bluehills Rovers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philip Sandwall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the game, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Berg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. After 88 minutes, Philip Sandwall made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Peter Skog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bertil Heggert during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
