Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ejikemeifeuwa Luangekaphan hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Gawronki Siemce's Ejikemeifeuwa Luangekaphan got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 38th match minute, Gawronki Siemce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ejikemeifeuwa Luangekaphan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Facundo Cadaval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Richard Horinka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dante Lacasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lautaro Mancebo to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Richard Horinka made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Olaf Domaradzki in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Olaf Domaradzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Mexico's Luca Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Olaf Domaradzki. Olaf Domaradzki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 62 minutes into the match, Gawronki Siemce's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Olaf Domaradzki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Olaf Domaradzki made a huge save. With a little luck, Gawronki Siemce's Olaf Domaradzki got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olaf Domaradzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play.
