Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Pentti Ojala came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Tiger fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pentti Ojala couldn't finish the play. Pentti Ojala's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tiger's Josef Witlatschil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match Venezuela got a corner. Tiger's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomas Illescas ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Patricio Costa almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tiger's Josef Witlatschil did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaizka Mendieta got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaizka Mendieta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josef Witlatschil having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Illescas in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josef Witlatschil saved Tiger from getting behind. Thilo Heß scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Iwo Sawicki scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. 27 minutes into the match, Gaizka Mendieta notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwo Sawicki in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Christo Bothenhain took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Josef Witlatschil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Illescas's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Christo Bothenhain left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. 40 minutes into the game, Tiger's Iwo Sawicki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Thilo Heß scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 7-0. In the 46th minute, Patricio Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 7-0.

Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Sawicki, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Tiger were awarded a corner. Christo Bothenhain went to the cornerflag to take it. Tiger's Christo Bothenhain was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jonathan Ferrant in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thilo Heß might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thilo Heß ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiger's Marten Weise was substituted for Iwo Sawicki. After 74 minutes Venezuela's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Américo Baehr who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Thilo Heß almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant did a great save. In the 93rd minute, Marten Weise ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tiger had played much better football throughout.
