Primitivo Andino made in the 19th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristian Sancho immediately put the ball in play. With his leg Atilano Benat managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Atilano Benat could save by the left post. 28 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dromes FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Atilano Benat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 31st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Atilano Benat in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Manuel Erlantz charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manuel Erlantz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 38th minute, Manuel Erlantz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Felix Montes played forward. 42 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goalkeeper Atilano Benat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. 43 minutes into the match, Dromes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Atilano Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atilano Benat saved Dromes FC from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Atilano Benat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58thth minute of the game Agustín Saelices who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dromes FC's Atilano Benat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cristian Sancho in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Atilano Benat saved Dromes FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Cristian Sancho put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Atilano Benat. Jack Grealish kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd match minute, Dromes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Grealish to maneuver through the defense. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Andino made in the 82nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Agustín Saelices. Atilano Benat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute of play. Primitivo Andino charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Primitivo Andino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ecuador fully deserved thier win.
